I crunched through fallen leaves this morning, so this card feels appropriate for this Autumn day in the Northern Hemisphere.
But before I share my reflections or the interpretation from the Spacious Tarot guidebook, what does it mean to you?
How does the image speak to you?
What does a sycamore seed pod make you think of?
What might a seed represent in your life at the moment?
Is there any significance to the fact it’s a single seed? We often see these in pairs.
What might the colours used in this card mean?
In Tarot, aces are low, so what might a ‘1’ mean? And Pentacles tend to represent the material world – how might your thoughts so far apply to materiality or wealth?
If nothing comes up straight away, you’re not doing this wrong.
Take your time.
Try writing down what you notice in the card before thinking about what it might mean – for you.
Or try recording your thoughts on your phone and then playing them back. Sometimes moving out of thinking and into writing or speaking can open up new ideas.
Maybe head out into your nearest green space and see if you can find a sycamore seed. What do you notice on your way and about the seed you find?
Don’t be tempted to scroll down until you have captured at least some of your own thoughts…. The real magic is already within you.
All done…?
Promise…?!
Okay.
